My website has evolved from my first go around when I was making jewelry to my present day site featuring original art work.

My artistic talent lay dormant for many years. I grew up in a household with a very talented artist for a mother. She’s still going strong at 91, both oil painting and painting on porcelain. As a child she would hand me paint, brushes and a canvas and I would sit by her side and express my artist talent. I took art classes in college and even taught art at one time. Then life happened with its twists and turns and the journey took me away from art.

Then it happened, spring of 2009, my niece and I went to an art and craft show. She saw a painting she liked. I boldly proclaimed that I could paint something similar to that (it had only been 30 years since the last time I painted). I proved my self correct; the painting is now hanging in her son’s room. I have not stopped painting and here I am with a web site.

I don’t believe it was by accident that I rediscovered my artist talent. I believe that God has a purpose yet to be revealed. My talent is a gift from God. To Him I give thanks and pray that through my art I can bring honor and glory to His name.
